President Michel visits small businesses at Bel Ombre and Beau Vallon

President James Michel visited several small businesses in the Bel Ombre and Beau Vallon districts this morning, which forms part of his ongoing visits to various communities and businesses this year.

President Michel met with the owners of two car garages, a bakery, self-catering tourism apartments, sewing and batik printing workshop, a barber shop, fishing boats, a pharmacy, a butcher's shop and a carpentry workshop.

President James Michel was accompanied on the visit by the Minister for Investment, Entrepreneurship Development and Business Innovation, Mr. Michael Benstrong, the Principal Secretary for Investment, Entrepreneurship Development and Business Innovation, Mrs. Marise Berlouis, the Member of the National Assembly for Bel Ombre, the Hon. Gaelan Bresson, the District Administrator for Bel Ombre, Ms. Pharisianne Lucas, the Member of the National Assembly for Beau Vallon, the Hon. Mirena Souris, the District Administrator for Beau Vallon, Ms. Barbara Stravens as well as senior officials in the Office of the President.
