President Michel visits businesses at Bel Air and St. Louis

President James Michel visited several businesses in the Bel Air and St. Louis districts this morning, which forms part of his ongoing visits to various communities and businesses this year.

It forms part of the President’s endeavour to support small business entrepreneurs to grow their businesses for a more prosperous Seychelles. The President said that he hopes that more Seychellois would be encouraged to start their own businesses.

President Michel met with the owners of a flower arrangement business, two sewing workshops, a car repair garage, a childcare business and a PET bottle collection business.

President James Michel was accompanied on the visit by the Minister for Investment, Entrepreneurship Development and Business Innovation, Mr. Michael Benstrong, the Principal Secretary for Investment, Entrepreneurship Development and Business Innovation, Mrs. Marise Berlouis, the Member of the National Assembly for Bel Air, the Hon. Nicole Barbe, the District Administrator for Bel Air, Ms. Alexandra Zelia, the Member of the National Assembly for St. Louis, the Hon. Herbert Hoareau, the District Administrator for St. Louis. Ms. Rachel Joseph and senior officials in the Office of the President.
