New Namibian High Commissioner to Seychelles accredited

New Namibian High Commissioner to Seychelles, H.E. Mr. Veiccoh K. Nghiwete presented his credentials to President James Michel at State House this morning.

The President and the High Commissioner discussed the way the countries can share experiences in fisheries and the Blue Economy, regional development, air services, and trade.

“Both our countries enjoy peace and stability, and what is left is to strengthen our economic cooperation,” he told the national media afterwards that his talks with the President.

High Commissioner Nghiwete is based in Pretoria, South Africa.

Also present during the meeting were the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Transport, Mr. Joel Morgan, the President’s Diplomatic Adviser, Ambassador Callixte D’Offay and the Chief Press Secretary in the Office of the President, Ms. Srdjana Janosevic.
